About the Journal

The Journal of Business Management, ISSN 1691-5348/ e-ISSN 2593-0001, is published jointly by RISEBA University of Applied Sciences and BA School of Business and Finance.

The journal publishes papers that contribute to an understanding of business management and provide readers with a fresh look at emerging business management practices and research. It particularly encourages academics, researchers, and doctoral students to share their experiences, knowledge, and practices with an international audience.

The journal contains only original scholarly material.

Articles submitted to the journal should not have been published in their current form or a substantially similar form. They should not be under consideration for publication in another journal. All authors must provide a cover letter, including a confirmation of the originality of the submitted research article.

The journal is published in English. The abstracts for all published research articles are presented in each issue. Since 2016, every research paper has been proofread by a native speaker to ensure better quality of the research papers and the entire journal.

The journal provides authors, editors and reviewers transparent ethical requirements, including a peer review policy and the Authors’ Guidelines.

To protect academic integrity and prevent ethical issues, all submissions are automatically screened by the software Ouriginal (combined expertise of Urkund and PlagScan’s plagiarism detection solution).

The Journal of Business Management has been indexed in the EBSCO database since 2008. As of 2017, JBM is indexed in Copernicus. Since 2022, the journal has been indexed in ERIH PLUS. 

The Journal of Business Management is available for all readers in PDF format with no restrictions to access any content of all journal volumes.
